all magazines would have some graphic design for advertising, photoshop and illustrator type magazines would have images more artistic as mentioned, libraries have various kinds that you could view for ideas, though you would need to go through recycling boxes for old used magazines, you could also search for newspapers and weekends fliers , they also have free magazines at corners stops like the sun/ enquirer,

Graphic Arts magazines are generally expensive….such as “Applied Arts Magazine” and “CMYK”.
However, I’ve always found that skateboard/snowboard mags are pretty graphic.
Also concider comic book magazines like “Wizard” for lots of fun and colourful stuff.
“Adbusters” often has abstract and surreal and weird images in it.
And finally, check out music stores that give away free magazines and posters!
