Photos of women today in magazines are not real. They are airbrushed and made to look flawless. Is this having a negative effect on today’s young girls and adult women?

Of course it is? How can it not. Young girls and even older women are trying to recreate themselves to look immaculate like what they see in the pictures, without realizing that they aren’t perfect. They just LOOK that way in the magazine.

Yes it is. Young girls look at the women in magazines and want to look like them, which is sometimes virtually impossible. I also think they need to put larger women on TV shows also so girls don’t think they need to be super skinny.

I think everything in our society is having a neg effect on teen girls. They are being pressured into having *** way to young, dressing like a skank way to young, and I’m sorry, but all fingers point to MTV. Look at the shows they have produced in the last ten years. Real world and road rules were fine but then they started these retardedly fake dating shows that are having the most negative effect of all on teens, both male and female. Real life is not at all like what’s on tv, and they don’t get that. They just don’t have any positive influence in their lives right now. That’s what really *****.

Yes! Pretty much every photo in magazines are airbrushed! It would be impossible to be so skinny or to have no skin blemishes or no bad hair cuts at the same time!!!!!! Airbrushed is bad, it puts women and girls feel self-conscious about their appearance and also judge mental. It puts a large impact on females.
