This type of horror is not our natural mental food.We have been gullet fed like veal this foul sensationism since our entrance into the social institution of conformity.     Hello I turned off the volume just after your intro and I looked for myself to see what I would see and I saw the word chat and the cover stories are at odds . The mag name should be maybe (lets chat about death and grizzy gastly horrific evil bloody maiming errible sick things) and the picture should at least have a little blood splattered over thegals face and a surprised look of horror on her face. This is just sick sensationalism aimed at the jaded masses.

    is this subliminal > i would say that this is simply the form of the magazine , everything is right there for you to see.

    i see a lot of these magazines also , it IS a requierment to have on the front cover , a baby , a brutal death story and realitionships/diet’s .

    i think the writing inside these mags are a lot more disturbing, mind you if you ever read something like mari claire , its like readding facist propaganda.

    The main reason why they have their main stories on the bottom right hand corner is because if you notice thats wear your thumb lands when your about to turn over the page, so you tend to take more notice of that. Also, for this reason, as you flip through some of the pages youll notice that a lot of advertising is placed in the bottom right hand corner too.

    There’re 12 keywords for this vid, and 4 keywords in the video title ’subliminal, marketing, womens, magazines’. Question: HOW CAN YOU ASSUME MY MOTIVES BASED ON ONE OF THOSE WORDS, WHILE IGNORING THE OTHERS ???

    Now, look at the titles of my other vids then tell me how many times the word ‘women’ cropped up as opposed to ’subliminal’ or ‘psychology’ or ‘analysis’, you know, the stuff I generally make vids about.

    Interesting how YOU use the word WOMEN to gather women viewers! Anti-male ads are ALL over the place and there is NO hidden meaning to it!     OMG is this Chat a womens gossip magazine or a bloodbath crime investigation mag for sick weirdos. The red cover we are shown at 5:47 is hideous, it has a hammer which could be seen as a weapon as its next to the text ‘House of horror’ then as you pointed out there is the blood splat with the words bodies which I just think is yuck. And the word Killed, and among all this mayhem going on the cover with have a pretty girl in the foreground looking happy and smiling, is this appropriate??

    We get bombarded with subliminal messages like this every day.Commercials, movies, magazines etc. This is no coincidence the reason why they do this is beyond belief. Type and watch “the arrivals pt.22″

    Rob this is horrid, But this stuff sells papers and mags .They have a name for it in the trade. The shock headlines sell more than “nice” headlines its not a new technique. It was used in the 50`s. I think the best thing is to generally avoid it? But we do live in a free society.

    These people want to make the readers feel bad. And what do people do when they feel bad? They go out and buy some comfort food, or something else to make them feel good again. I think there is a group of people out there that wants us to keep on buying stuff all the time. So don’t read or watch the news, it’s designed to make us feel bad, not to inform us!
