How Can I Donate My Car Magazines For Our Troops To Read?

February 14th, 2010 | by magazines |
Diane asked:

I am a longtime subscriber to AutoWeek, Racer, SportsCar, and Grassroots Motorsports magazines. I’ve been keeping a collection of them in the hopes that I can donate them for our troops in Iraq/Afghanistan to read. Anyone know how/where I can do this?
Sure they have access but not to an entire magazine’s content unless they subscribe. In addition to that, their time on the Internet is limited.

Thanks for nothing!

You do know that the troops have computers with internet connections in theater, right ?

This means that they can read, online, any site that has car content. Secondly, consider the weight of shipping old magazines to the other side of the world ? By military cargo planes ?

A waste of space and jet fuel .

I have alot too and that’s a good idea. But they are probably too heavy to make it practical.
