Justin F asked:

I am currently interning for Wenner Media in New York City, which owns and operates Rolling Stone, Men’s Journal, and Us Weekly. Rolling Stone celebrates its 40th year anniversary in 2007. I am working on a project researching and developing ideas that other magazines have used for their 40th year anniversary. I am asking whether anyone knows magazines that have celebrated their 40th year anniversary in the past decade and would appreciate and welcome any additional information regarding the suubject. Thanks!

Well Time magazine has been around since 1923. Here is there website that shows 1923 to present

GQ magazine came out in 1960. The September, 2002 U.S. edition of GQ is a special 45th Anniversary edition

Vogue magazine has been around since 1892.

I do know that Vanity Fair magazine was originally founded in 1913 and was re-vamped in 1983. Read about it here

Seventeen magazine was founded in 1944.

And New York Magazine was founded in 1968. Here are some websites.

That’s all I can think of at 3:45am! I hope this helps you any. Good luck with your project.
