I love reading magazines and have so many that i just cant seem to toss (or recycle). Any craft ideas? or anything that i can do with the pages?

Use them as scarp-booking material. It can be ALOT of fun to flip through the magazines to find the write letters, pictures or whole words to add a little flare to your photo album.

I have a zillion too…and I just went through them and took out what I wanted and then took them to the recycle bin. I still have a couple plastic bins with articles and crafts and scrapbooking and recipes I kept…but most of it is gone now.

I used to take them to the hospital and to the nursing homes…they love the magazines for people to read…but now I have gotten to taking out the crosswords and recipes etc I want and they are kind of torn up now. :)))

make an idea notebook, for example exercise notebook, fashion notebook, or hairstyle notebook. i’ve been wanting to make an exercise notebook but just don’t have the time.

I cut out parts from the fashion pages, and make a kind of collage on the inside of my wardrobe door, for inspiration when it comes to putting outfits together (:

make some cool collages. You can also do oragami…or attatch the pix to an old table top and varnish over it…or a lampshade!^^
you can laminate or use clear actylic resin to put on top of tiny pictures you find in the magazines and make jewellery–the resin makes the paper stiff…and u can put a hole in that to make a necklace or earrings or even make a cool hat with pix on it…lots of artistic ideas u can use to make cool art from paper…think of the pix as color and not pix…u can use the colors u see to make entirely new pix…glue pieces of the colored paper to a blank board where you’ve outlined a face or an object or scene…glue it on and then take that to a color photo copy shop and make a print of your cool art.

I remember my mom making angels out of them. She would fold all pages down from the top diagonally, then fan it out to be round ( taking the first & last pages to glue or paperclip them together) It would then be conical shaped after doing this. Spraypaint the “magazine body”, then add paper arms, a stryrafoam head with doll hair, and a halo made of ribbon covered wire. They were really cute! gl!

I have this handbag from Mexico
And it’s made from folding wrappers and magazines
Into squares and the weaving them together
It sounds strange but it’s really affective because of allthe different colours
You’d need to buy some sort of fastening, zips or even buttons could look quite cool
