How do I unsubscribe from a magazine that charges by direct debit?

I subscribe to Men’s Health magazine, but don’t want to receive it anymore - yet, having trawled through their website, and looked through the magazines themselves - I can’t see anyway of contacting them as to how to go about cancelling my subscription.

It’s frustrating to know that my bank account is being debited every so often for the privelege of receiving half the supposed amount of magazines I’m subscribed to - if anyone knows how to help, I would be eternally grateful.
Thanks.

You can’t find a phonenumber? Best bet is to call them and cancel it. There should be a number on your bill. If you don’t get the bill it just comes out of your acount call your bank and get the information from there.

Stop payment at your bank and write the magazine a letter, canceling your subscription.

The only way is to cancel it with the magazine. I suggest you ring them up and find out which department you need. Eventually you will find the right person. Or if you have the original paperwork, it might be there.
I had a similar problem with McAfee virus protection - my bank absolutely refused to cancel the direct debit and McAfee ignored me for about two years. I got some of my money back, but it was very frustrating.

First off, cancel your direct debit then call the number provided by the company and cancel your subscription. Unfortunately if you’re in a contract you may have to wait till it expires.

Hi, you can stop the payment at the bank from today on out. Go to the bank and tell them that you want to stop paying on a automatic withdrawl that has been taken out evey month, give the day of the month is is taken out, show them on a statement and they will stop it. Explain it to them and they will understand.
We had Mens Health too for while and there was no way to contact them and talk to a live person so we stopped because we had moved and couldn’t change our address due to not talking to anyone.

Call the DEBIT CARD ISSUER or go visit them if it’s your bank and they can put a stop pay notice on the card.
