What are the benefits of single or double-stacked magazines?

Well pros are you have more ammo in a double-stacked but if you have a large caliber and small hands it is hard to get your hands around the grip. A single stacked doesn’t hold as much but that same person might be able to get their hands around the grip. Buy a Glock and your problems will be over!

With double stacked mags, you can carry more ammo.
The only cons to any magazine is leaving the ammo in the mag longer than 3 months without letting the spring release.
Single stacked mags are a thing of the past, they had a tendency to ramp down and cause a feed jam, mostly on the Colt 45 cal.
The newer mags, have a longer follower, which prevents this from occurring.
