I love to cook and love even more to eat, but I have never been drawn to food magazines in general because they always feature recipes that need a lot of experience and aren’t always budget friendly (not that budget is a top priority, but I personally don’t use rabbit, duck and lobster on a day-to-day basis). So, it’s nice you featured that last magazine! However I’m always open to civilized discussion and would love to hear other points of view on the matter.

I know what you mean about the photography in Bon Appetit. I think they are trying to stand out, but sometimes it backfires. Thanks for the contest idea, I was thinking I’d love to see what recipes people like. Thanks for watching. Take care, Heather

Are you writing/freelancing for any magazines. Then I would be interested in buying them.

I unfortunately had to unsub. to bon appetite because of the redesign of the magazine. I think the photography is very harsh and dark. You should do a contest where people submit their favorite recipe and you give them some a cookbook or something. Just an idea.
