I ALWAYS LOVED MY GAMING MAGAZINES,but now and days even with youtube you have people reviewing there own games and they are some pros out there who deliver good info and i guess magazines are now loosing out and becoming irrelevant like u mention,but some mags still ok!cool intro magusx1!!!!!

I’ve had&have EGM, GMR, Game Informer, Tips&tricks,OPM,ect. I like to read them casually out of just interest but unless they give you an incentive to buy them like the demo discs, just don’t bother. I used to buy them back in the 90’s and early 20’s since i didn’t have a computer/internet, so it was my only medium to find new games/news/reviews. But today i could care less about what Official Xbox/Playstation Magazine has to say about anything since i could just get all there stuff online.

Ok first, I was a little too busy at work to catch the inauguration but congrats to President Obama, second, I enjoy gaming magazines but in the digital age people would rather get their news, gaming or otherwise, from the web, hell I go to IGN, Gamespot, and 1up to get the latest info, my nephew has a sub to Game Informer but hardly reads it, I used to but cancelled it

I like gaming magazines. I had a subscription to GamePro a long time ago. I currently have a sub for Game Informer. The thing I like about them is all your info is in once place. There are so many websites out there that if you aren’t looking for info on one game it’s hard to find stuff especially if you want to discover new games you haven’t heard of.

Hell yeah, I loved OPM. It was the first magazine I got a subscription to, thanks to my dad. All the demo discs gave you great previews for later games. Plus, the magazine was always like over 200 or even 300 pages, giving you tons of info. Nowadays, it just seems like you only get reviews and news about the cover stories, and magazines seem so much more biased now than even 3-5 years ago. Seems disappointing to me; but it’s nice to have reminders of old memories again.
