My favorite game magazine ever, Nintendo Power. I’ve been a subscriber ever since Vol. 20 or so.

It was the last issue of my current subscription back then. I NEVER wait that long to renew my subscriptions any more. I don’t ever wanna risk them ruining another front cover again.

I almost understood what you asked, but then I got lost.

Yeah, that’s what I thought. I never even heard of Nintendo Power until I got that Super Mario Bros. 3 Strategy Guide.

Well, it was my last issue, but instead of just telling me in a letter or something they decided to ruin the entire issue by putting it on the front cover. STUPID!

I couldn’t quite make out your question? Are you asking WHY DOES IT SAY “THIS IS YOUR LAST ISSUE”?

  11. By NintendosAdvocate0 on Feb 6, 2008 | Reply

I think it was the normal subscription numbers? I always found it odd that an entire month’s issue was just a stragtegy guide instead of a traditional issue.

  12. By NintendosAdvocate0 on Feb 6, 2008 | Reply

No, that was long before I became a subscriber I think.

The clay Super Mario Bros. 2 picture is the first one. I wish I had that one!!!!!

That makes me sick. I feel tempted to actually order this issue again on ebay or something. I remember seeing this Mario Paint cover in the past and wondering what issue that was because of not having it. What a cool issue to ***** the cover up on. Mario Paint was my all-time most played game EVER! I played it off and on for well over 10 years.

actually, the cover around 8:50 WAS MARIO PAINT. how bad could they ***** it up? i mean, magazines today have a separate cover for “this is your last issue”, but the clay mario paint cover was awesome!

If the first issue is one of the ones on 04:32 then yes, I do. I think the one with the clay Super Mario Bros. 2 picture is the first one.
