What’s a good way to convince my parents to let me subscribe to magazines like Seventeen?
June 3rd, 2009 | by magazines |breathe me. asked:
I’m 14, a hardworking student, I have my priorities, and I play a variety of sports. However, occasionally I flip through a magazine like Seventeen and I find it interesting, so I’d like to ask my parents to let me get a yearlong subscription to see if I like it or not. It’s not that they won’t let me subscribe to magazines, but they might be partial to the fact that it’s basically a fashion-oriented one like Seventeen.

Any advice?

if your parents are that strict then they have issues, just ask them, and say ” since i do so well in school, i would like a little treat” and they should be fine with it. or when your at the store, pick one up.

Well, you could say that it helps answer questions you don’t want to ask them…
..or even offer them the chance to read it first? Check it out themselves?

Well it shouldn’t be that hard for you. Remember what your mom kept bugging you about? Does she still do it btw? Anyway just go up to her all cheery and ask if you can subscribe. Tell her that looking at such fashion magazines regularly would help you match better XD
